This is the Mathematics Department at the University of Arizona's postdoctoral program. Currently, about 30 postdoctoral fellows are involved in the teaching, research, and outreach efforts of the department. Each postdoc is mentored by a tenure-track faculty member, who provides guidance on professional development and on career choices. The program itself is overseen by a faculty coordinator.

Lathisms 

Lathisms was founded in 2016 in order to showcase the contributions of Latinx and Hispanic mathematicians during Hispanic Heritage Month, which is celebrated in the United States from September 15 and October 15 every year. During this time we featured/revealed a prominent Latinx/Hispanic mathematician daily, providing a biography and information on their research, teaching and service contributions. 

Mathematically Gifted and Black 

This website highlights the contributions and lives of Black mathematicians. This page was inspired by the work of Lathisms and emboldened by the film Hidden Figures.
